Over the past decade, Kaminario has evolved to meet its customers’ needs: from an all-flash provider to a software-only solution to simplifying and accelerating cloud adoption. Kaminario has the ability to run its software suite either on industry-standard hardware – in a form of a private cloud implementation – or on any of the leading public cloud providers. This uniquely enables Kaminario to provide a consistent underlying software layer that supports automation and data mobility between private and public cloud platforms, or from one public cloud to another. Leveraging Kaminario’s Data Plane Virtualization platform eliminates the need to rearchitect workloads when moving them from one cloud platform to another. Kaminario is excited about changing the relationship between applications and traditional box-centric infrastructure.
Most of all, Kaminario is excited to build on the back of its strong foundation, which was recently identified as a Visionary in Gartner’s inaugural Magic Quadrant for Primary Storage. In its companion Critical Capabilities report, Kaminario was amongst the 5 highest scorers in all uses cases, receiving the highest score (4.2/5) in the Analytics Use Case and the second highest score (4.20/5) in the High-Performance Computing Use Case.
