Senior Director, UK Sales
Chris Buckel is Senior Director of UK Sales and a technology evangelist for Kaminario. He brings deep application expertise with experience as a database administrator and architect for SaaS companies as well as extensive experience in the flash storage space. Prior to joining Kaminario, he held various consulting and technical sales at Violin Memory, most recently as head of EMEA Solutions Architecture. Previously, he was the Exadata team lead for Oracle in the UK and has held positions at companies including CTSpace, Logica, and CMG.
As one of only a few hundred Oracle Certified Masters worldwide, Chris enjoys being involved with the Oracle community and maintains a popular blog http://flashdba.com which aims to enlighten database users to the benefits of flash storage.
Chief Technology Officer
As CTO, Eyal David is responsible for charting Kaminario's technical vision and is the company's lead technology evangelist. Eyal joined Kaminario in 2009 as a developer then software team leader. He has also held the positions of VP of Product Management and VP of Business Development at Kaminario. Prior to Kaminario Eyal led the advanced algorithms group for a large enterprise. Eyal holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and a M.Sc. in Computer Science from The Interdisciplinary Center, Herzliya.
VP of North American Sales
As Vice President of North American Sales, Christian Butler is responsible for direct and indirect sales at Kaminario. With nearly 20 years of experience leading sales at both emerging technology and large complex organizations, Christian is a seasoned sales executive who excels at building high performance sales teams and driving significant revenue growth. Christian has held sales leadership roles at storage technology companies including StorageTek, Dell, and Tegile.
Prior to his position as head of North American Sales, Christian led Kaminario's Western US sales, leading his team to double digit growth and consistently overachieving sales goals over the past two years. Throughout his career, Christian has excelled at building high performance sales organizations optimized for penetrating new verticals, bringing disruptive business models to market, and leveraging channel partners to accelerate growth.
VP of Global Channel Sales and Field Operations
As Vice President of Global Channels, Dror Friedman is responsible for leading the worldwide channel strategy and sales operations at Kaminario. With 15-plus years experience driving global channel development at large organizations, Dror is a seasoned channel executive professional who brings strong international sales and marketing assets to drive revenue growth. An experienced channel executive, Dror has held leadership roles at various storage and enterprise companies, such as EMC and NetApp, where he led sales for the U.S. and Canadian markets as well as EMEA for more than a decade. A skilled people manager, Dror brings a strong personal network and senior level contacts across the IT industry. His deep understanding of IT trends and market dynamics has been a key contributor to Kaminario's overall growth and positioning in the storage space.
Chief Marketing Officer
Josh Epstein has 20 years experience in technology marketing and strategy roles. At Kaminario, Josh is responsible for developing the company’s brand, driving global marketing programs, and telling the Kaminario story.
Prior to Kaminario, he has held a range of marketing, strategy and business development roles at startups including Reddo Mobility, Gizmox, and Advanced Electron Beams as well as global technology companies including EMC, CA Technologies, Acme Packet, and Oracle. Additionally, Josh is an active advisor to several early-stage, Boston-area technology companies. He holds a B.S. in Operations Research from Cornell and an MBA from MIT Sloan.
Chief Financial Officer
Guy Tanchuma joins the Kaminario team with a successful 20-year track record as a Finance Executive for various technology firms. At Kaminario, Guy leads the finance organization.
Prior to joining Kaminario, Guy was VP of Finance for the Enterprise Division of NICE Systems. In total he spent over 10 years with NICE with roles including CFO of the Americas and Director of Cost and Budget.
Prior to joining NICE, Guy held various corporate finance roles at a range of technology companies including Comverse and Pelephone.
Founder & CEO
Dani Golan oversees strategy, go-to-market and overall company operations. Previously, Dani served as President and General Manager of Performix Technologies, acquired by NICE Systems in 2006. Prior to Performix, Dani was an executive responsible for leading new ventures at EMC. Dani holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Summa Cum Laude) from the Technion Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. Prior to his professional career, Dani served as a fighter pilot and an officer in the Israeli Air Force.
VP of Finance
Anat brings nearly 20 years experience as a corporate finance leader to her role as VP of Finance. At Kaminario, she is responsible for compliance, accounting, financial planning, and analysis.
Prior to joining Kaminario in 2013, Anat was Director of Finance for Amimon. Prior to that she held senior corporate finance roles at IXI Mobile and Robo-group.
Chief Operating Officer
Reuven Losh brings over 25 years of operational leadership experience. At Kaminario, Reuven leads all internal operations functions including: Operations, IT, Program Management, Legal & Facilities as well as Customer Support.
Reuven has 25+ years of experience leading Customer Support, Global Operations and Business Operations at Orbotech where he held executive positions including VP of Finance and Operations, Managing Director of Japan, and most recently, Corporate VP of Customer Support and Global Infrastructure.
VP of Human Capital
Oren Israelson is a seasoned human resources executive, with over 10 years of experience leading startups and large global enterprises. Prior to joining Kaminario, Oren held executive positions at Amdocs, Delta Galil Industries and Intel, where he drove the strategy, development and processes to support organizational talent. As an independent consultant, Oren partnered with startup founders to design their companies' culture, strategic vision and achieve greater measurable outcomes.
VP of Engineering
Adik Sokolovski brings more than 15 years of experience working in the enterprise software industry, leading multiple SW development groups. Adik is responsible for research, development and quality assurance of Kaminario's products. Adik has previously worked for a range of well-regarded companies including AGT, IBM, Neustar and Amdocs.
In his last role at AGT Adik was VP of R&D, managing global R&D groups delivering products in the areas of critical infrastructure security, emergency management and law enforcement. Prior to AGT, Adik worked for IBM where he managed a global development team contributing to the IBM Tivoli Storage Management product. Adik holds a B.A. in information systems and business management (graduated with honors) from the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC).
VP of Corporate Development
Todd Gresham leads corporate development efforts at Kaminario. He brings thirty years of executive management experience in both publicly traded and privately held technology companies. He has held executive leadership roles in businesses with revenues ranging from $25M to $1.3B with a track record of expanding product portfolios, building new solutions, and driving profitability.
Prior to Kaminario, Todd has held a CEO, General Manager, and Senior Sales positions at Source Support Services, Xyratex, nStor, and Data General CLARiiON. Todd holds several Advisory and Director positions with public, private and non-profit companies including the National Advisory Board of the Make-A-Wish foundation.
As Chief Architect, Eyal Gordon is responsible for leading the architectural design of Kaminario's core offerings. Eyal joined Kaminario in 2008 working as a senior developer and software team leader before joining the architecture team. Prior to joining Kaminario, Eyal was at IBM Research Labs in Haifa working on IBM's DS8000 enterprise storage platform. Eyal holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science from the Technion Institute.
Tom is Kaminario’s CTO for the EMEA and International Regions. He has nearly 20 years’ experience in senior technical roles, providing customer solutions to business problems. He has worked exclusively for enterprise storage vendors but focused on Flash Storage Solutions for the last seven years. He also brings deep virtualisation and application expertise gained from joint projects with Microsoft, VMware and Oracle.
Prior to Kaminario Tom spent five years at Violin Memory in various senior technical roles, most recently as Global Solution Architect. Previously he has held similar roles for Oracle / Pillar Data, EMC and Data General. In his 19 years in the storage industry he has been involved in some of the largest global deployments of storage platforms. He has worked extensively throughout Europe and Asia including emerging markets such as Russia, Turkey and Korea as well as the established territories of Northern Europe.
VP of Operations
Moshe Amir oversees all aspects of strategic business operations at Kaminario. Moshe has over 15 years of extensive experience in supply chain processes, manufacturing, service delivery processes and logistics. Prior to Kaminario, Moshe was Director of Operations at several Medical Devices companies. Moshe holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management from the Technion, Israel.
Chief Revenue Officer
As chief revenue officer, Itay Shoshani is responsible for Kaminario's worldwide sales and customer operations. Itay is charged with ensuring every customer interaction is optimized for success - from inception to professional services, fulfillment and customer support - with Kaminario all-flash storage solutions. Prior to coming to Kaminario, Itay served 10 years with Unisys EMEA in a variety of customer facing positions, such as managing enterprise consolidation and professional services projects as well as enterprise infrastructure architect. Itay also served in leadership roles at startups such as ibetcha and omninetworks, as well as large enterprises such as ELAL.
VP of Sales and Business Development EMEA & APAC
As Vice-President of EMEA & APAC Sales and Business Development, Ron Davidi is responsible for driving direct and indirect sales, as well as developing strategic business partners for Kaminario across the regions. Ron brings 20 years of experience leading business development, sales and technical consulting in the IT industry.
Ron is a highly skilled sales executive who excels at building high performance sales teams and driving significant revenue growth. Ron has held leadership roles at both emerging technology companies and enterprise organizations.
Ron founded and led Kaminario's EMEA & APAC sales and business development activities, laying the foundation for a sustainable growth engine across the regions. Prior to Kaminario, Ron held business development, sales and technical consultancy leadership roles at Dell/EMC, Malam/Team and head of IT at Orek-Tioga Tech.
VP of Global Support
Liran Gabay is responsible for global support and customer experience at Kaminario. Liran brings 15 years experience in technology leadership and customer support operations to the team.
Prior to Kaminario, Liran held senior customer support positions at NetApp where he led a multicultural\multilingual technical support team charged with support and customer experience across Europe and the Middle East. Prior to NetApp, Liran was a datacenter technologist and storage technology specialist with the Israeli military.
